• Checklist progress: Which moving tasks you have completed.
• Reminders: Titles, dates, and contact details (email/phone) you provide for notifications.
• Location research: Cities and states you search and save during neighborhood research.
• Packing & room data: Items you track per room for packing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the MoveEasy application.
• Store your move details, inventory, expenses, and checklist so you can access them across sessions.
• Send reminder notifications to the email addresses or phone numbers you specify.
• Generate AI-powered recommendations (route stops, mover suggestions, location insights) using anonymized inputs.
• Respond to your questions or support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI & Third-Party Services

MoveEasy uses AI language models to power features such as location research, route planning, and moving company recommendations. When you use these features, relevant (non-personally-identifying) details about your move may be sent to the AI provider to generate responses. We do not send your full name, email, or financial information to AI services.

We also use the following third-party services:

• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: For geocoding addresses and mapping your route. Addresses are sent to their public API.
• Open-Meteo: For weather forecasts. Coordinates are sent to their public API.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on our platform. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual records (inventory items, expenses, checklist tasks, etc.) at any time from within the app. You may also request full account deletion from the Account page, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent to process your data.
